The Ivy is Baltimore’s largest independent bookstore. We specialize in fiction, history, poetry, current affairs, art, cooking and children’s books, among others (our Books on Books section, is, for instance, a delight to browse). The Ivy is open for limited capacity browsing from 10am to 7pm. Not ready to visit yet? Select curbside pickup from our beautiful new covered porch or have your books shipped. During business hours, you are also welcome to stroll around our more than two-acre property, which features meditation paths, pocket gardens with benches and a lovely expanse of lawn that’s perfect for a picnic!
